What is an Image Strip?
An Image Strip is a Powis thermal binding strip that has an image printed on it. This image can consist of photographs, vector art, and/or various color specifications. The strip is wider along the front edge to allow for a larger graphic element on the cover of the document. Image Strips comes in three styles: Theme, Branded, and Custom. Each has advantages, and each will appeal to a different customer need. At this time, the Image Strip can be used with the Fastback 9 binder only.

Theme Strip
Theme Strips are strips that come pre-printed with styles that will appeal to people in a variety of vertical markets with no specific company information. See the current image strip collection.

Branded Strip
Branded Strips are the Theme Strips with logos and titles added. For a few cents more per strip, you can increase your brand profile substantially with every document you bind. There is a one-time charge of $100 for the initial set-up of a Branded Strip.

Custom Strip
The Custom Strip is the ultimate in personalization. With the Custom Strip, you can create your own, unique binding strips. You have the choice of either submitting your own design for a strip, or allowing the Powis Graphic Arts department to create a one-of-a-kind strip for you. If you choose to have Powis design the strip, there is a preliminary one-time charge of $500 for the service. Included in that price, you will receive two designs to choose from.
